Thank You Notes

We would like to begin by giving a massive thank you to God and each and everyone who's being very supportive throughout  our musical journey, The Archipelago Singers - A Musical Tribute To The Nation.
Thank you so much to Plan International, who allowed us to give back to our own country, Indonesia, especially to the children, the future. It is a pleasure for us to be able to give back to our home-country through this musical journey. Thank you for giving us the chance to held our concerts and shared what we have to a part of the world away from home.

We would also like to proudly announce our achievements in both international choir competitions we were part of, as highlighted below:

• 49th International Competition for Choirs - Spittal/Drau - Austria
• 8th place in category A (Choral Works)
• 6th place in category B (Folksong)
• 9th International Choir Competition - Landkreis Miltenberg - Germany
• 2nd place (Gold Diploma) in category A (Symphony of Voices with compulsory composition)
• 1st place in category B (Folksong, Spiritual and Jazz)

We glad that we can represent Indonesia in these well-known international choir competitions and did our best, especially in presenting the beauty of Indonesia diverse culture through its varied kind of folklore music.

Special thanks to the following, God, our Parents, families and friends, the sponsors, the organization from both competitions, Mr. and Mrs. Priatna and friends ;) Everyone in Plan International, Johanna Unterlass, Katrin Wrinkler and Vanessa Cardui, Nandha B. Moerthi, Main Stream Magic, the fun-crazy-loving host families ;) and everyone that cannot be mentioned one by one.
It was impossible to done so well in both competitions without the blessing from God and every single support and prayers given to us from all of you.

We hope that we make Indonesia and all of our supporters around the world proud.
